York welcomes over 4.1million visitors each year and many of those visitors arrive by coach.

Helpful Information for Coach Operators

Coaches and minibuses with over 16 seats are not allowed inside the city walls except for a section of Station Road. Skeldergate Bridge is the only city centre bridge crossing available to coaches.

No overnight parking                                         Overnight parking is permitted, 

                                                                         coaches cannot be removed before 8am.

6 coach spaces. Must be pre-booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Coaches who do not pre-book will incur a £10 charge.
